Evernote
Conference Identity

Evernote is an incredibly powerful and popular application that allows users to capture, organize, and easily find and share information across virtually every computer or mobile device. With Evernote’s ability to seamlessly integrate with other applications and products, it has become a central focus and resource for developers looking to extend the functionality of their own products and apps.

Given this popularity with the developer community, Evernote established and hosted its first annual developer conference: The Evernote Trunk Conference (ETC), held in August 2011 in San Francisco.

Aware of our experience with conferences and environmental graphics, Evernote reached out to The Invisible Spark to develop the conference identity and design the various campaign materials for print and the web. The result was a unique and playful illustrative campaign that alluded to Evernote’s iconic elephant while capturing some of the spirit of the host city of San Francisco.

Attended by hundreds of developers, the conference was a huge success for both Evernote and the developer community, and included $70,000 in contest prizes awarded to the top developer apps from the ETC sponsored competition.
