Captain Brands is a strategic branding agency headquartered in San Francisco with an experienced and talented team that understands brands, inside and out. Having recently developed a new identity, they needed a website that would reflect the same bold approach to color and typography, while creating a simple and intuitive experience for the visitor to explore the company’s background and offerings.

Following The Invisible Spark’s initial design exploration of various concepts for the site, Captain Brands courageously selected the most vivid, unconventional, and iconic proposed direction. The result is a clean, structured, and elemental site that captures the essential attributes of the brand itself.

By introducing active motion and levels of subtle interactivity, the user’s experience is almost tactile, allowing them to fluidly navigate the site with a more dynamic experience. And by using HTML5 compliant technologies, it functions across mobile and desktop devices in a smooth and consistent way, creating a device-independent experience.
